EVENT CAP 160 due to space
2022 DRSCCA Solo Supps
In light of the pandemic, we’re taking precautions to ensure that our autocross events are as safe as possible for all entrants and volunteers. We will continue to re-evaluate our procedures as things change.
We ask that you be patient and understanding with the actions that we are taking. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact John Li, the Solo Director.

Paddock, Course, and Timing Truck rules
When outside and not in cars, all entrants and event workers must maintain 6 feet of social distance from non-related persons. This means staying 6 feet away from other people in the paddock, out on the course when doing course walks or working corners, and in spectator areas.
Loaner helmets
It is strongly recommended that drivers bring their own helmets if at all possible.
We will allow drivers to borrow loaner helmets. You will be asked to use a head sock with the helmet. Passengers are not guaranteed access to loaner helmets; we will be trying to reduce the number of folks sharing helmets while still offering drivers without helmets an opportunity to compete without having to buy their own.
We will not be able to sanitize helmets between users, and will attempt to limit to the best of our ability the number of drivers that end up sharing a helmet. If you are not comfortable with this, please bring your own helmet to the event.
Welcome to the Detroit Region of the SCCA
If you like to drive hard, then Autocross is for you! During autocross competition, drivers compete against the clock as they navigate technical courses. Each driver is given at least three chances to post their best time. It's fast, it's fun, and nearly anyone can afford to participate.
If you'd like to participate in the next autocross event, your car and a helmet are pretty much all you'll need to get started. Autocross competition is broken down into a number of classes so that virtually any car can be competitive. So whether you own a Corvette or a Civic, you can be sure you'll have a great time. So make your plans to attend today.
For more information about event dates, and location, check out the Solo schedule of events. We want to see you there!
